Rainelle, WV

Rich in History

Situated in the heart of Greenbrier County's historic, scenic Midland Trail, Rainelle is rich in history, surrounded by beauty and ripe for growth. A special HISTORY page is being developed so that you may glimpse into the past as we move forward.

What does Rainelle have in common with Major League baseball, Time magazine and The Waldor-Astoria Hotel? You will be pleasantly surprised!

We welcome contributors. You may have interesting facts, historical documents or photos that we could present in the site. We will have a contact for you very soon.

Our Mayor

Mayor Pendleton

Welcome to our new website. The people of Rainelle are coming together as volunteers to grow and build our future. They are working hard to build a legacy we can be proud of for our children, our businesses and our citizens--present and future.

It is vital that we communicate openly and honestly with you. For this reason, I am working with developers to create a 'rapid response' tool that will be available in the near future.

Good things are coming! Thank you for your patience as we work through the issues.

StarsA note from the volunteer developer: I wish to thank the enthusiasm of the Planning Commission, the vision of Danny Milam and the valuable foundation work done by Rick McCall. This team has laid out a thoughtful, forward leaning plan that will serve Rainelle for many years to come.

The Planning Commission
